Kforce is seeking a Technical Business Analyst IV in Ann Arbor, MI. This role involves taking technical ownership of platform components, deeply engaging with data, JSON structures, SQL workflows, and scripting. Must Have
- Ability to understand complex system architectures and data flows
- Practical experience designing solutions to data-processing challenges
- Technical leadership experience (ready to step into a lead role within ~6 months)
- Outstanding communication skills to work across teams

Kforce has a client in Ann Arbor, MI that is seeking a Technical Business Analyst IV. Responsibilities:
- Take technical ownership of part of the platform, working deeply with data, JSON structures, SQL workflows, and scripting
- Analyze and solve data problems such as transforming legacy datasets into structured JSON for use in modern applications
- Understand, maintain, and modify bash and Python scripts that support day-to-day operations
- Translate cross-team requirements into clear, actionable Jira tickets and lead the technical execution
Manage day-to-day requests such as:
- Store- or location-specific data updates (pricing, coupons, configurations)
- Supporting new features in the modern application, each of which requires new or updated data structures
- Corporate initiatives (new products, recipe updates, promotions)
- Data migrations from legacy systems (SQL-based) into modern, service-oriented architectures (JSON-based)
- Grow into a Technical Lead role within ~6 months-mentoring others, representing the team, and guiding technical decision-making
- Partner with multiple groups across the organization and communicate clearly when translating technical needs, constraints, and tasks
Requirements
- Ability to understand complex system architectures and data flows
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, JSON, microservices, APIs, and data transformations
- Ability to modify and maintain bash and Python scripts
- Practical experience designing solutions to data-processing challenges
- Software development exposure beneficial, especially the ability to read C#
- Experience in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
- Technical leadership experience-ready to step into a lead role within ~6 months
